Mission

Strengthening resiliency as a whole and in one another by developing opportunity where two persistent societal realities exist:  increased drainage and urban flash flooding problems and  good folks,  facing serious barriers to employment, such as lack of education, experience and criminal history.

Vision

Working with GSI Works, communities and non-profit organizations across North America adopt and adapts the Train your Rain public participation platform while embracing a social enterprise approach to operations (self-reliance rather than total reliance on grant funding.)

Values

  • Accountability, home and business owners understand and do what they can to protect themselves.
  • Sustainability, both as an organization and a community service provider.
  • Simplicity, over complicated solutions.
  • Affordability, over expensive solutions.
  • Diversity, in hiring, outreach and technical assistance.
  • Ingenuity, thinking differently to solve persistent community challenge.
  • Honesty, transparent in all we do and all we say and expecting the same in return.
